Pandering is cheating. It's dishonest and low.Acroes about your girlfriend directed TO your girlfriend who's in the same gameroom not only signals her to vote for your answer, but sometimes brings up more than anybody else in the room cares to know (again, it's usually a teen trying to prove how grown up they are by using naughty words; they end up only looking like big, foulmouthed babies).
Clan teams acroing with special mascot words and using them as a signal for team votes is also cheating. In my first tournament, I was appalled and very disappointed when the opposing team did just that; the captain actually gloated during the voting round that he expected an answer on his side to get at least 6 votes. He has a bit of karma from his unscrupulous practises to look forward to. This is not to be confused by words which are just used by force of habit; all rooms have that. But his was a calculated strategy. They were the TRUE losers that night, and his team should be disqualified for every game they have done this in competition.
