Yesterday, I downloaded 91 E-mail messages when I got home from work.Between illness, work, and my assorted on and offline commitments, I had some evaluating to do about a couple looking to us for teamship. Their acro histories were clouded by defamation and deceit. But by the end of the day, I had the true story.
After hosting chat, Glee accompanied me to discuss the situation with a troubled soul, who stood the chance of losing her best friend out of fear on her end and manipulation from another. We resolved that and discussed the future, and where it stood for her, her boyfriend, and our room/team.
The fact is, only one of them were truly compatible with our style. Priorities were carefully weighed, and it was decided that it would not be in anyone's best interest for them to join us. As a sensible woman (well, this time at any rate), she recognised that some things were more important than joining a team; it was best they be in a room which fully appreciated BOTH their styles of play.
